Super Saturday?

Okay Smart Ladies...

Any ideas for great enrichment meeting - super saturday activities? I've planned too many of these the past few years and my ideas are running short!

What have you guys done or would like to do??? Anything jumping out at you?

Thanks in advance!

One of the best Enrichment nights I did was a "Yack and Snack." We had a bunch of color-coded round tables set up with a color-coordinating quasi-healthy snack (watermelon for red, carrots and dip for orange, pretzels with chocolate for brown, pineapple for yellow, etc.). Each table had a question that everyone was supposed to answer. When everyone came in, they got a little card with a series of table assignments, and they rotated through each table every 7 minutes or something like that. The questions were meant to get the women to know each other beyond small talk as well as spiritually. We wanted to find a way to help the women in Primary and YW feel included, and it supposedly worked great!

Super Saturday. . .yeah, not so good at that one.

When I was planning a few of these it seemed like there was two different "camps." One like to make projects and do crafts and the other didn't. So consequently we would try to please both. Here are some that I remember/liked.

Fun wrapping ideas for presents

As you can tell, most of the Super Saturdays were around Christmas time, or preparing for Christmas.

I always like the Sunday/Sacrament Meeting projects because it's nice to give my kids something new during church and after. Here are some ideas:
-homemade quiet books
-laminated prophet picture cards made for a matching/memory game
-ABC quiet books with a gospel theme in a simple photo album (I have the document for these on my computer)
-Sunday boxes- cute cardboard boxes filled with good after-church activities (gospel themed games, scripture coloring books, gospel pictures, gospel music, etc.)

Another Super Saturday we had here was a little different- since we have a lot more older ladies, we just set up tables and had a sister at each one with some talent or interest she had displayed. There was everything from dying wool/knitting, to 72 hour kits, to scrapbooking alternatives. Then each had a sign up if other sisters were interested in them teaching a class later. It was fun to see talents and sample from the canning table, and take handouts home from all the other tables.
Hope that helps!
